In the centre of the building stands a Campanile rising 100 feet above floor level, the 130 feet stone drum spire is of Ironwork and supports a Flag staff. On the N. W. Corner of the building adjoining the Entrance to the Bell Tower, the roof over this building is 63342 ft brickwork set in mortar.

The Workshops are tiled in the customary manner.

The workshops Compound is 225 ft and are separated only from the offices by a passage 12 ft in width. The shops are divided into a Rolling Mill and double height Room, Coining Room, Annealing, Marking Room, Weighing and Assay Room over, Room and Store Room house 218 divided partitions 2006 ft in height. At the back of the Annealing and Rolling Mill Rooms is a Laboratory.

On the East part of the Building is a Foundry with pattern room, pipe drains laid on Concrete 18" & a Setting room, and small weighing room.

The Engine Room, Boiler House behind having a Tank capable of containing 24000 Gallons.

The shops will be paved with granite, except the Foundry.
